The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is used as part of the admissions process by Nursing and Allied Health schools nationwide.
The exam is computer-based and is offered on a drop-in basis. The exam takes approximately 3-1/2 hours to complete and covers material in the areas of reading, math, science and English. Students must plan to begin this exam no later than 1:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, no later than 2:30 pm on Tuesday, and before 8:15 am on Fridays. Testing candidates will need to have a current photo ID on the day of the exam.
The testing fee is split into two portions:
- $15.00 proctoring fee payable to OC at the Testing Center on the date you choose to test. You can pre-pay this fee by utilizing our Marketplace.
- AND a $70.00 testing fee payable directly to ATI, the owner of TEAS, on their testing website by credit or debit card ONLY.

- Contact your specific program and verify the exact TEAS exam you are required to complete. Please note, testing center representatives will not be able to determine the exam required for your program.

- Visit www.atitesting.com to create your account if you don't already have one.
- If you have lost or forgot your login information you will need to call ATI at 1-800-667-7531 to retrieve your credentials before you arrive at the Testing Center.
- Printed results will be provided for you after you complete your exam and extra copies can be printed directly from your ATI account.
Testing Center Tips:
- The Testing Center is located in the SPUR Building, Suite 150.
- All test candidates should be prepared to present a current photo ID for verification purposes duing the check-in process.
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to your reservation.
- You will be provided a locker to store your personal items when completing your exam.
- We welcome you to park in any WHITE or YELLOW parking space located in the lot to the left of the Administration Building.
- No need to bring your calculator, they are not embedded into the testing platform.
